A gift from India: Indian outfit worn two ways

One of my dearest friends recently got back from a visit to her hometown in India. I'm one lucky girl! I got a wonderful gift from her :-) I'm amazed at how she managed to get my size to a 'T'! For fall, I see myself wearing this skirt with a t-shirt and a denim jacket or vest. I also see myself wearing this top with faux leather leggings and a Moto jacket to give me that chic and edgy look. Today, I decided to style this outfit with a tribal necklace which I got a few years ago from ideeli and a vintage gold snake bracelet from Atlantis Dry Goods. The second picture...well, you really can't go wrong with the combination of lace and peplum :-)

*Anthropolgie necklace - got that a while back on sale. No longer available.

*My Instagram picture - I especially liked this chunky gold link necklace with it.

Tell me what you think, how else would you style this outfit?

  2. Lucky girl, fits you perfectly. I'd add a chambray button down over a plain white T with a tiny belt. Or a long cardigan and T belted. A pair of boots and you're ready for the cooler weather. The colors highlight your lovely skin and you are glowing. Nice to make your acquaintance.

    1. Thanks...I know right!! I love it too :-) Its always nice to find unique jewelry. I did a google search on this type of bracelet and found that I paid much less than what I've seen for this vintage buy.
