Winter Warm and Road Trip

Winter Warm
Today's style board was inspired by the need to stay warm as the temperatures have dropped. Despite the cold weather it has not stopped me from going on a road trip around the Texas Hill Country. With my Camera in hand and a full tank of gas off I went. My passion for photography has slowed me down quite a bit. For me its like taking time to smell the roses so to speak. And in this case I'm taking time to notice the things I ordinarily wouldn't notice. My base for this trip has been the lovely quaint town of Wimberley, Texas about 40miles from Austin. This trip normally takes about 2.5hrs to 3hrs from Houston but it took me about 5hrs as I made many pitstops along the way; snapping away. With stops in Columbus, Luling and San Marcus. Oh speaking of San Marcos I had the best burger ever at Centerpoint Station.
What a lovely little shop! Its a boutique, bakery and cafe all combined in one. And it's right across from the outlet mall, which I was determined not to visit as this trip was not all about shopping ;-) And in Columbus I took a wonderful picture of the Colorado River Bridge which I hear is haunted ;-) Well, if you believe in that sort of thing :-) I'm happy I got this shot because I also heard that it will soon be renovated.
Hope you enjoy these photos just as much as I enjoyed taking them. Happy New Year!
