This month's guest feature is stylish, beautiful and talented Ngoma. When I asked Ngoma to describe herself, she said "I'm a lucky wife, a proud mother, a PhD student, a columnist, a radio host, the Associate Producer and Assistant Director of Sabbath Film Production".
A couple of months ago I was fortunate to be a guest on her show where we discussed forming one's identity as it pertains to being a first and/or second generation American. Checkout MP3 audio link below on the show's segment I think you'd find it quite interesting.
Over the weekend, I was at her photo shoot for a project she has been working on which she plans to share on her upcoming website. The theme for that day was "sisterhood" and that's where I know Ngoma finds her inspiration. She's a firm believer in women supporting each other and quite passionate about fairness and equality. Sisterhood is especially important in today's society where competition amongst women exists quite too often.
~ Her chic style shines through with this halter maxi dress! She looked quite elegant in the outfit and the pink lip color gave it a nice pop! :-)
~Loving the crisp look of this outfit where she let the shoes be the star! One of the things I've come to admire about her is that she does not believe in breaking the bank to be stylish. This beautiful pair came from JC Penny. I just love these shoes!
~The pictures below show a sneak peek soon to be on her website. The Photographer, Sabbath did an amazing job!
~You can't go wrong with a jumpsuit these days. Not with one as beautiful as this. The perfect drop earrings and shoes pull this outfit together.
~All smiles as we celebrate women that follow their passion.

Leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you on your thoughts about how you identify yourself, whether its with the topic we discussed on the show or perhaps you'd like to tell me about your fashion identity :-)
Ngoma's website will cover all things radio, fashion, blog and some lovely outfit posts. I'm certainly looking forward to the launch of her site!!
