First Vintage buy/ Beautiful bride/ Style inspiration / Practice posing

Over the weekend I got to witness a dear friend get married, I enjoyed delicious Ethiopian food and its traditions, shopped my first vintage clothing on Church Street in Montclair and enjoyed great company with wonderful friends. Here are a few highlights that I remembered to capture:

*Irish and More, that's the name of the shop that I purchased my first vintage outfit. Its a quaint little shop on Church Street. The store owner told us they started out selling Irish goods and as years went on she added vintage clothing to her collection some of which once belonged to her mother. I got three items, the one pictured below was from the 1960's. The picture truly does not do it justice, the color is amazing! I got quite giddy when I tried it on! I can't wait to feature it on another post. Stay tuned on that one :-)

*I'm quite inspired by the Ankara outfits a friend of mine wore over the weekend.

*The bride thought of everything including an activity book for the kids.

*My childhood friend and I were working on our pose and decided to try the "bloggers pose" :-)

*Enjoyed traditional Ethiopian dinner at Mesob. Loved Wot and Injera.... Great food! It's also a tradition to smell roasted coffee beans.

*Traditional Ethiopian outfit. Just lovely:-)

*The cab driver wanted in on the action when he saw us taking pictures. Funny guy!
