1960's vintage skirt and top for a wedding + Rose Garden wedding

On Saturday I attended my brother in-law's wedding. I love when there's an opportunity to get together and celebrate. The best part is not only watching the lovely couple exchange their vows but also catching up with family and friends that you've not seen in a long time. It really was a great time and a romantic location. For this occasion, I was determined not to purchase an outfit, so what better time for me to launch my first vintage outfit! Do you remember my post about it? :-) This original 1960's outfit was the perfect outfit for this occasion. I'm really starting to love finding vintage items, what's your favorite vintage find?
How else would you have styled this dress? I'd love to hear other styling options :-)

    I love the way you styled this dress! I don't think I would've done anything differently. The gold accent purse looks great and blue is a wonderful color on you. I love weddings too! (haha- who doesn't though, really)

    Love the colors nnene, I have a wedding this Saturday and I just keep having this style or fashion block, the idea of what to wear is becoming a dilemma. I totally love the blue shade on you and how you paired with a statement jewelry. Maybe simple yet chic is the way to go, just like you did

      Thanks Mz CocoH! I really was going for simple and chic. I figured the colors from the brocade fabric was quite a statement on its own. I'm sure what you select for the upcoming wedding will be great, would love to see your post on that. Thanks so much for checking out my post :-)

    love the shoes!! you can't go wrong with anything that has a bow.

    i think paring this look with fuchsia (shoes or bag or necklace) would be pretty too.
